1. :: Men have a similar bone system as women, but there are some differences. Things like the shoulders and waist. The shoulders are broader and the waist is not as wide. Men’s bones are bigger therefore making the whole body bigger. But it also depends on what kind of style you are doing also. So keep that in mind also when creating a character.
:: Something i also want to cover is different kinds of characters. This goes for both genders. When you create a character you want to be thinking about there personality. Like if it is someone, who is happy, high spirited, they will most likely have good posture and have an average body. As for someone who is not a happy person, they will most likely have bad posture and their body would be abnormal in some way. Such as being lanky or fat. These things can really bring out a characters personality.
2. :: Next you are going to want to flesh out your character. If you need to use shapes do so. They can be of help. Make sure that everything is in proportion. Remember to take your time at this part. Most mistakes are made at this part in the process.
:: Remember men are usually huskier. Their shoulders are wider and their waists are more narrow. Their muscles are usually larger than a woman’s.
3. :: Now to finish up. Remember to erase guidelines and correct any disproportion’s. Add a head and clothes and this will finish up you first male character. Remember men are larger the women. This causes changes in their structure such as broader shoulders and a narrow waist. This concludes the basic anatomy tutorials. Good luck ^_^.
